I am grateful for the snowflakes falling outside,
Those remind me of tall snowmen I built with you.
I am thankful for that tasty food, that we paid cheap and enjoyed like kings on the sidewalk.
I am happy for the times I laughed as loud as lungs could, in the worst of times too.
I love how I am sure you love me.
I adore you as your mother adored you.
Cause lately I wonder?
Time has gone,
And I am not happier…
So, I hope that when I say I love you, you will too,
That when I laugh you will laugh louder,
And when I say thank you
You will say :
You’re welcome… You are just as I imagined you to be.
