The alchemist took the book that someone brought to the caravan. It didn’t have a hardcover, but he could still identify the author: Mikhail Bulgakov. He stumbled on the story:” Hearth of dog”.

It was a fake and distracted voice that sang above him. The dog got surprised and widely opened his sleepy eyes; right next to him, he saw the leg of a man on a white stool. His pants were rolled up and a naked yellowish shin covered with scabbed blood was exposed.
